“Digital art isn’t real art. You have no real talent and you’re lazy. It’s not like painting or using traditional media. You didn’t work a sweat. The program makes it for you!”
Hahaha….haha. *Although, I’m sure some people don’t actually reach 150 layers. That’s just me aahaha. /insecure /back ups of back ups of back ups
I saw this comic going around and thought that there should be an art version of it.
And in regards to that ^ other comic? I do both.
Dude, if that button exists, I wouldn’t have to plonk in hours upon hours of life on top of a deteriorating eyesight making ‘unreal art’.
Digital art is actually harder for me to do because I get so insanely picky about everything and just ugh. My traditional work isn’t as strong since I’m out of practice, but I do notice that I have a far more laid back thought process on what I’m doing when it comes to traditional vs digital. I just have far higher expectations of myself when I do digital work.
(I actually reach 100+ layers from time to time, depending on the complexity of the piece, ahahahaha awwww darn. /hangs head in shame)
Honestly, after getting a tablet and now trying with digital art…. I’d have to say ‘traditional’ art is the easier one. Because holy shit.
