- Me: I'm really frustrated that Supernatural is apparently good again.
- Donna: I KNOW. Okay, it's like you were in a relationship with a guy and it started out really great. Like things weren't perfect in the beginning and you were both young, but then you started to grow up and you were both doing things with your life. But then things started to go downhill and neither of you were really happy anymore, but you had to keep hanging on because you'd already put so much into the relationship and it seemed like a shame to break it off now but -- GOD HE WAS SUCH A DICK. But then you manned up and managed to break up with him and it was really for the best. But then. Like a year later you hear from a mutual friend that suddenly this guy's really turned his life around. He's gotten a job and no longer spends all day sitting on the couch in his underwear playing XBox Live. He's started being all, you know, really sensitive and seems like he's really matured. He's the guy people are relying on. He owns a car. And a puppy? And is also now apparently ripped? The worst part is he's single and he's been asking about you. Wanting to know how things are going with you. And feels really bad about how things went. And you start to think about it. You start to tell yourself that he was just going through a phase. That you've changed. That you're both different people. That maybe this could work. You used to love him so much--! BUT GOD HE WAS A DICK.
