(I think if you wanted to make it more Thor-like, you could somehow add those silver circles that he had in all his costume designs. I did it with buttons on my design, but I’m not sure how that’d work out on your dress…)

I finished my Black Widow dress! Design by Robinade. Will post better pictures eventually?
Face cut off because expression is slightly…demonic? Had several incidents with the sewing machine and the ruffles. But honestly, I’m super excited.
Ohhhh my GOD. THIS IS SO EXCELLENT. The Black Widow dress is definitely one of my hardest-to-sew designs (sorry!) and you pulled it off brilliantly. And you look fabulous in it, I might add. All you need is her belt symbol (and maybe those bullet bracelets?) and you’ll be good to go! I’m soooo excited. :D :D :D

This is my fem!Loki cosplay so far. The dress was made by a local designer from a design by the ever wonderful robinade. You might have seen the picture floating around on Tumblr.
For the finished thing, I’ll also have a dark green cape, green contact lenses, my hair dyed black, black eyeliner/mascara and dark red lip stain, black boots and blue nail varnish.

My Captain America dress/cosplay based off robinade’s dress design. Looking at it now I realize I completely forgot the pockets…
I won’t actually be carrying the shield around FanExpo this weekend, because I am un-coordinated and big props are a bad idea.

So I’ve been secretly working on Robinade’s Loki dress over the summer. I made a few modifications to it because although I loved the design, I felt that it really didn’t flatter my shape. So I made two separate pieces that I feel encompass the design. The green part is a corset that goes over a black and gold dress that is longer in the back than the front. The corset itself was fun and by fun, I mean I realized I messed up the layers too late to go back and correct them without having to purchase more of the fabric (If I have time before I move I’ll correct it later). So I do know the silver is on the wrong side (considering these were all taken in a mirror).

painted the pattern on last night and hhhh i messed up a bit on the front but wow i really did not want to have to order custom fabric (i probably should have though)
still need to put the buttons on (once i can find them) and figure out what i want to do for makeup and hair and stuff but
i’d still wear this out and stuff i think it’s cute
