mama frigga is displeased with you peasants

i’m sorry i have to reblog this one

have to

YES YES YES YES YES

It’s hard to tell b/c the camera’s moving, but I’m preeeeetty sure Jane is like moonwalking out of there like “OKAY GODSHIT JUST GOT GODREAL SO IMMA GODDOUTTA HERE”

wait wait wait, so the tagline for Thor 2 is “some believe that before the universe, there was nothing. they’re wrong. there was darkness, and it has survived.

Are they talking about Ymir??? I don’t know enough about Thor comics, but in Norse mythology he was the first being— he came out of the primordial mist and was made of ice and poison. From him all the other Jotun’s came into being. So technically Loki’s ancestor but what’s EVEN BETTER also Thor’s ancestor!!! Because Odin’s mother was at least half Jotun (possibly full Jotun, but only her father is mentioned in the Poetic Edda)

I… may have spent several afternoons on wikipedia. um.

I am never going to get over the fact that this guy directed “Thor”.

Did he though, or did he just obliviate the actual director and stick his name on the credits?

“Tom was just 13 and at Eton school when he first decided that he wanted to be an actor. However, his father James did not approve and made it clear that Tom should be using his brains for something else. Tom admitted: “We had arguments about me doing something as insubstantial as acting.” So instead of going to drama school, Tom went to Cambridge and earned a first-class degree. While he was at university, he appeared in student plays and landed early TV roles in ITV’s Nicholas Nickleby and the award-winning BBC drama The Gathering Storm, about Winston Churchill. Tom’s performance as Winston’s son Randolph eventually moved his disapproving dad to tears. He said: “It was a really moving piece and afterwards my dad called me up. He was crying and said he was really proud of me.” The Thor movie gives James another reason to be proud - his son shares the big screen with Oscar winners Portman and Hopkins.

It didn’t end up looking like the Thor dress I was aiming for, but it’s still cute in’t it?
Thanks robinade  for inspiring my creation :)

This looks awesome! And it’s a great look on you 8)
(I think if you wanted to make it more Thor-like, you could somehow add those silver circles that he had in all his costume designs. I did it with buttons on my design, but I’m not sure how that’d work out on your dress…)
